Day 01 Arrival/ Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage/ Dambulla cave temple/ Sigiriya
Arrive to bandaranayake international airport. You will met representative of McIsland Life travels and tours. Proceed to Sigiriya en route visit elephant orphanage Pinnawala. The Pinnawala elephant orphanage was established to feed,nurse and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers.
Lunch en route at local restaurant
Proceed to Sigirya. En-route visit Dambulla rock cave temple which beautifully painted and where designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1991. The caves of dambulla sheltered king Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 02 Sigiriya lion rock/ Minneriya Safari
Morning climb Sigiriya lion rock with takeaway breakfast. Sigiriya- is a ‘world heritage site’ and the 5th century ‘fortress in the sky’ which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the island. This ruins is surrounded by gardens, ponds and other structures. This was build by king Kassapa.

Afternoon visit Minneriya National park to do a safari at Minneriya national by a jeep. This national park is famous for it large population of elephants in herds of 100 to 150 roaming in the jungle and seen in the catchmen area of the lake. Wild elephants, buffaloes, boar, deer, bear, sambhur, leopards , crocodiles, jackals, reptiles, birds, kinds of fish, many varieties of butterflies are recorded from the Minneriya national park
Evening return back o the hotel and dinner and overnight stay at hotel at Sigiriya.
Day 03 Nalanda gedige/ Sigiriya/ Spice garden Matale/ Temple of the tooth Kandy
Morning leave for Kandy via Matale. While coming to Kandy you will visit Nalanda gedige which is unique structure build in the south indian architectural style.
Visit Matale spice garden where you can enjoy a garden tour and a cooking demonstration to understand the taste and aroma of the world famous spices.
Lunch enroute at local restaurant
Evening visit temple of the tooth relic. The temply of the tooth, what brings sanctity to Kandy is the temple of the tooth which houses the scared tooth relic of Lord Buddha.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 04 Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Morning leave for Nuwaraeliya Via Ramboda. On the way you are passing Ramboda water falls, tea factory and tea plantation at labukele where you will taste the tea and experience of processing tea at the factory.
(optional – you will be transfer to Kandy railway station to board the train to Nanu oya. Evening visit tea factory and tea plantation)
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon City tour of nuwara eliya and visit Gregory lake, gold club and city.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Nuwaraeliya.
Day 05 Nuwara Eliya/ Horton Plains/ Hakgala garden
Early morning excrusion to Horton plains with takeaway breakfast . The Horton plains national park is a beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes in the shadows of Sri Lanka. The ‘plains’ themselves from and undulating plateau over 200m high covered by wild grassland and interspersed with patches of this forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and Mistry lakes.

Afternoon visit Hakgala botanical gardens. Hakgala is famous for its roses. The garden is divided into different sections, including a Japanese garden, a fernery and rock garden. The beds here host a diverse range of flowers, from sunflowers and pansies to orchids. The plants and trees labeled in red are indigenous to Sri Lanka.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwaraeliya.
Day 06 Nuwareliya/ Kithulgala water rafting/ Beruwala
Today morning you are proceed to Beruwala after having a delicious breakfast en route visit Kithulgala enjoying a white water rafting. The stretch of Kelaniya river around Kithulgala is considered to be the best place for whitewater rafting in Sri Lanka.

Evening visit Beruwala after a long journey, we suggest you spend relaxing surrounding after check in to the hotel.
Day 07 Beruwala/ turtle hatchery/ Madu river safari
After breakfast visit Kosgoda turtle hatchery which is a valuable conservation project that protects the endangered marine turtles of Sri Lanka.
After lunch visit Madu river safari. This boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing hundreds of spices of plants and animals, monkeys eat fruits in the trees, a water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water and cormor ants egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks eyeing the water for prey.
Dinner and overnight stay in Beruwala.
Day 08 Colombo city tour / departure
After breakfast leave for Colombo city tour and transfer to airport for departure.
